1st akustika music competition
In 2025, the Nuremberg University of Music organised the akustika music competition for the first time in cooperation with the Federal Guild Association for the Musical Instrument Trade, AFAG and Musik Klier.
This competition was aimed at the best students from German music academies and was organised in the tenor horn and concert guitar categories.
The final round of the akustika music competition in the concert guitar category took place on 13 March.

The 1st prize of EUR 1,000 was awarded to Panagiotis Tzortzis (1st from left), the 2nd prize of EUR 500 went to Alexander Muñoz Godoy (2nd from left) - both from the Franz Liszt School of Music, Weimar.
Due to the high standard of the participants in the final round, jury member and festival director Johannes Tonio Kreusch awarded a scholarship for the International Guitar Festival Hersbruck in August 2025 as the 3rd prize. The scholarship went to Daniel Asenjo from the HMDK - Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Stuttgart.
